MANILA, Philippines - Skil Power Tools recently rolled out its Skil roadshow with endorser Coach Norman Black at Handyman Ermita. Norman, who played professionally for the NBA and the PBA and is coach of the Ateneo Blue Eagles UAAP team, spent a day shooting hoops, signing autographs and participating in a drilling challenge with fans during the event. “Norman has the strong ability to instruct and cultivate a common passion and teamwork among the players he coaches — which complements with the Skil brand which is about precision and power that enable one to perform,” said Skil brand manager Martin Valenzuela.
“Skil tools are innovative products. Our partnership with Norman Black pushes this further, delivering the same innovation to every major worksite and to every hard-working Filipino craftsman,” he added.
Hundreds also participated in a shoot-out challenge where they had a chance to go one-on-one with Black. Fans and customers alike received free autographed Skil shirts and basketballs from the celebrity coach.
