Sineng Pambansa at Araw ng Lanao

MANILA, Philippines - Members of the Sineng Pambansa, headed by its chairman Briccio Santos and filmmakers Brillante Mendoza, Sherad Anthony Sanchez and  Emman de la Cruz, among others, witnessed the beauty and hospitality of the M’ranaos. Sineng Pambansa included a short film competition in its program. 

“It’s a first here in Lanao Sur. I’m amazed with our vibrant M’ranao young directors and actors,” said Gov. Bombit Adiong Jr.

The 52nd Araw ng Lanao is a day of merry-making where the province showcased its young, creative  talents and rich cultural heritage.

The filmmakers watched the spectacle of the province’s culture and tradition when first lady Raifa Adiong tendered a Pagana M’ranao held at the Social Hall of Provincial Capitol.
