Nokia X7 brings Transformers 3 fever

MANILA, Philippines - Movie fans queued up at the Greenbelt 3 cinema to be among the first to watch Nokia’s exclusive premiere of the highly-anticipated sequel, Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.

Nokia Philippines hosted the premiere night to celebrate the launch of Nokia X7 with Symbian Anna, its latest smartphone for entertainment enthusiasts with Nokia’s updated Symbian operating system offering faster browsing and page-downloading experience.

The premiere was a fitting venue for the unveiling of Nokia’s latest entertainment smartphone that promises a whole new kind of viewing experience for mobile users. Even before the start of the movie, fans which included celebrities and special guests checked out the Nokia X7s on display as they waited for their turn to have their pictures taken beside the Transformers 3 backdrop using the new Nokia X7. 

Seen making their way inside the cinema were Showtime hosts Vhong Navarro and Rocksteddy’s Teddy Corpuz, Barbie Almalbis, Kitchie Nadal and Victor Aliwalas.

Joining them were Nokia corporate communications manager Nikka Abes, marketing head Aveline Siy, care head Jessica Toe-Hio, device portfolio manager Mike Smith, marketing managers Jonica Peña, Felyn Ong and Lissa Boluso, services marketing manager Corinne Bacani, among others.

Host KC Montero added excitement to the premiere as he invited guests to pose for pictures inside the Nokia X7 mock-up for a chance to win exciting prizes before the screening. KC let guests in on the exciting features of the Nokia X7, sporting a large four-inch screen perfect for surfing the web, playing games and viewing video content, and preloaded with popular games like Asphalt 5 HD and Galaxy On Fire HD.

Guests got to see the Nokia X7 in action in one of the scenes on the new Transformers movie. In the scene, Shia LaBeouf who plays Sam Witwicky is seen using his Nokia X7 to call Frances McDormand who plays a top government official in the film. Sam’s Nokia X7 also proved to be an important tool during one of the highlights of the film, where he is seen using the Ovi Maps to pinpoint the exact location of his captive girlfriend played by newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
