Operation Damayan in Wish Ko Lang

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine STAR’s Operation Damayan group led by Jay Sarmiento (second from left) put up six classrooms at the 40-year-old San Miguel Elementary School (formerly San Miguel Primary School) in San Miguel, Tarlac, with a total population of 92 (Grades 1 to 4).

With the new school facilities, the teachers and students welcomed the new school year with enthusiasm, especially since The Star Group of Companies also donated school uniform and school supplies.

The gift-giving activity will be shown in today’s edition of Wish Ko Lang (after Startalk), hosted by Vicky Morales, which also participated in the classroom-school/supply-school/uniform donations.
