MANILA, Philippines - GMA News TV 11’s Life & Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes focuses on various disasters and ailments brought forth by the wet season.

Gracing the show tomorrow at 11 a.m. is Gerry Chua whose community emergency service made him popular and respected by different sectors in Chinatown and other parts of Metro Manila.

Host-producer Ricky Reyes interviews the ER (Emergency Room) team of St. Luke’s Global about first-aid for kids. Televiewers will be able to see some visual reports about strokes, heart attack, monitoring blood sugar and cholesterol as well as falls and fracture that normally affect the elderly.

Also gracing the show are specialists Dr. Pelagio Yusingco (falls and fracture), Dr. Ma. Cristina Macrohon (global stroke), Kathleen Mae Marbella (stroke nurse) and Ian Nibbin Francisco (Philippine National Red Cross field representative) will give precautionary tips and share their patients’ case histories.

“Although disasters are termed as acts of God, we must also do our own share to always be prepared. We must, likewise, open our hearts and extend help to the victims,” says Reyes who is known for his philanthropic gestures.
