Amazing Cooking kids face mincing challenge

The Philippine Star

Manila, Philippines - GMA 7’s Amazing Cooking Kids has inspired both kids and adults to try cooking. The contestants even influenced host Carmina Villarroel to study culinary arts.

Carmina used to think that cooking is not for her until she came to see what the kids can do and taste what they can make. She takes up cooking lessons from the Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA).

Carmina even jokes that she and partner Zoren Legazpi would have a cook-off in their own kitchen as soon as she completes her training.

This week, remaining contestants Angela Clarke, Budik Villalobos, Duday Reyes and Ronin Leviste cook harder as only one elimination round is left before the finals.

After a “mincing challenge,” Heart Evangelista, who came from a family of restaurateurs, presents the kids’ main challenge for the week: Recreating Chef Judge GB Barlao’s dishes.

Will the kids live up to the expectations of the three chef judges? Who will cry in the “mincing challenge”? Who among the four makes the best execution of Chef GB’s dish?

Amazing Cooking Kids airs Saturdays at 11:15 a.m. before Eat, Bulaga!
