Run for Literacy on June 25

MANILA, Philippines - Millicent Foundation, Inc. launches Run for Literacy,  an open fun run event happening on June 25 at the Rajah Sulayman, Roxas Blvd., Manila. This benefit run will help raise funds for the scholars of Millicent Foundation, Inc. Ultimately, as a tangible evidence to seal the campaign, participants are also encouraged to bring used or new textbooks as donation. These will be distributed to day care centers around Manila.

Run for Literacy will cover distances of 3/5/10 kilometers. Runners are enjoined to gather at the venue by 5 a.m., 30 minutes before gun start.

First two finishers for each event category will be given two-year scholarships in Associate in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Associate in Business Administration course and a one year scholarship on PC Operation/Computer Tech, at the ICCT Colleges. Gift certificates from Fucoidan Slimming, Rejuvenation and Wellness Center will be given to runners-up (third, fourth and fifth placers for each category).
