Sta. Lucia Mall's Little Stars 2011 named

MANILA, Philippines -  A new roster of kid models was recently named winners at the grand finals of Sta. Lucia Mall’s Search for Little Stars 2011.

Fourteen boys and girls aged four to seven vied for the coveted title and the top prize of over P50,000 worth of cash, gift certificates and gift packs. Finalists opened the show dressed in their Pinoy super hero-inspired costumes. Four-year-old Rachel Angela Diokno from Angono, Rizal who was dressed as Amaya and five-year-old Jose Alfonzo Timbang from Pasig City as Mulawin were named Best in Costume winners. Alfonzo was also awarded Best in Barong.

The grand winners were Jan Pauline Babina from Cainta, Rizal who also bagged the Ms. Talent award and John Alfred Besa from Pasig City. Both are six years old.

Other winners were: first runners-up Michelina Kaye Basilan, seven, from Cubao, who was also awarded Ms. Photogenic and Johann Andrei de Guzman, seven, from Santolan, Pasig City who was also named Mr. Friendship.

Second runners-up were Wendy Johann Rahn Santos from Taytay and Stephen Von Ramos from Pasig City who was also Mr. Photogenic. Both are seven years old.

Other special awardees were Ivan Richard Catubig, Best in Talent and Jazzilyn Nicole Villanueva, Ms. Friendship. The finalists’ special production number with their respective dads was much applauded.

The search was presented by Catherine’s Flowerhaus, Footworx Fitness Center, Gemini Photo, Image Productions, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs, Viper Shoes, Young Artists’ Studio and Zoobic Safari.
