MANILA, Philippines - It has been months since ABS-CBN news anchor Tony Velasquez first challenged the authorities and the people to take a stand for road safety on Krusada. However, there’s still much to do as vehicular accidents continue to pile up in the streets of Metro Manila.
Join him tonight as he returns to the office of the Metro Manila Development Group (MMDA), the agency responsible for the protection of motorists in the metro, to find the right solutions to the problem, as well as the proper sanctions for violators of traffic rules.
Based on statistics from MMDA, there are already 37,048 accidents happening this year, in Metro Manila alone. Among these, 9,526 involved male drivers, while only 3,605 cases involved female drivers. Does this mean that lady drivers are safer to have in the streets than the “kings” of the road?
Get the answer from Velasquez, who anchors the newscast The Rundown with Ces Oreña - Drilon and the information technology show Future Perfect on ANC, as well as iBa-Balita Ngayon on Studio 23.
Find out how the nation can keep drivers on their toes at all times on the road. Listen, take part, and join Tony Velasquez’s crusade tonight after Bandila.
