PGT graced by Venus and Shamcey

MANILA, Philippines - Pinoys not only witnessed world-class acts on ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent 2 last Sunday, but they also saw world-class beauties in 2010 Miss Universe fourth runner-up Venus Raj (right) and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011 Shamcey Supsup (far right) gracing the PGT stage with a fun opening dance number. As the competition draws nearer to its much-awaited finale, two grand finalists were again named. Young singer John Michael Narag automatically took the seventh grand finalist slot after topping the nationwide text votes while dance group Filogram grabbed the eighth spot after winning the judges’ votes. PGT continues to be the country’s No. 1 reality-talent show. Last Saturday, PGT scored a national TV rating of 24.1 percent versus rival shows Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (17.9 percent) and Talentadong Pinoy (9.8 percent). It also ruled last Sunday when the show rated at 24.5 percent nationally versus Mel & Joey (14 percent), according to Kantar Media/TNS. PGT 2 is hosted by Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 8:45 p.m.
