Leo leads Law Law Gang
MANILA, Philippines - Leo Martinez will showcase his comedic talents via his latest movie project, Law Law Gang: Umpisa Pa Lang ‘To, a pilot offering from new film outfit Lara Films Production.
Leo headlines the wacky cast that also includes Pekto, Hero Bautista, Vincent Daffalong and Brownie. Newcomers Kai Lagunsad and Les Nolasco are introducing in the film.
Directed by Joel Apuyan from the story and screenplay of Tony Cruz, Law Law Gang also stars Jun Urbano, Robert Miller, Alicia Lane, Amay Bisaya, Archie Ramos and Althea Vega.
The modern-day Robin Hood story of Law Law Gang is about a group of petty thieves who found themselves incarcerated for petty crimes they did trying to survive their respective hard lives.
Law Law Gang members are Boy Babaero (Leo), Boy Pormatic (Pekto), Boy Scarf (Hero), Boy Kupit (Brownie) and Boy Talentado (Vincent).
While inside the jail, the five men find resolve and bonded together with common conviction never again to commit anything illegal when they get the chance to get out. Instead, they all feel they should be doing their share in improving the lives of their brethren, especially the poor people they meet along the way.
Law Law Gang is set on May 4 at all SM cinemas in Metro Manila.
