Though Ernie is soft spoken, he has grown tough through the years. He survived hard times brought about by Ondoy and has even survived a debilitating disease. But now, Ernie is suffering from hemophilia, a rare disease of the blood.

And all of his earnings go to his medication. Kapuso star and certified entre-Pinoy Monica Verallo visits Ernie at his tailoring shop for a wonderful surprise. 

His old and rusty sewing machines will be replaced by two brand new machines. Cloth and thread P10,000 are also waiting for his newly-painted shop and a tailoring lesson was prepared for him by no less than one of Philippine fashion’s most respected pillars, Rene Salud. 

Chris Tiu will also share tips in Hanep Tips for a summer that’s enjoyable and easy on the budget.
