Comedy, drama on Universal & RPN

MANILA, Philippines - Outsourced is Universal Channel’s new workplace comedy series centered around a catalog-based company, Mid America Novelties, that sells American novelty goods including whoopee cushions, foam fingers and wallets made of bacon, and whose call center has suddenly been outsourced to India. After recently completing Mid America Novelties’ manager training program, Todd Dempsy (Ben Rappaport) learns that the call center is being outsourced to India, and he is asked to move there to be the manager. Having never ventured out of the country, he is unprepared for the culture shock. Overwhelmed, Todd discovers that his new staff needs a crash course in all things American if they are to understand the US product line and ramp up sales from halfway around the world.

etc’s longest running drama One Tree Hill returns to Philippine TV for Season 8  this month. Continuing to grow and break new ground, the show already has more than 150 episodes under its belt and fans still can’t get enough. Having evolved from a high school drama, One Tree Hill explores the lives of these beloved characters as young adults dealing with the problems of marriage, motherhood, business and career.

Aired on Friday nights at 8 on etc on RPN, the new season finds Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) happier than ever. The fashion designer is engaged to Julian (Austin Nichols) and plans her fairy tale wedding that will be the talk of the town. Meanwhile, Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) prepares for his second season in the NBA with the good news that wife Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) is expecting their second child. But with Haley already trying to juggle raising their first child and pursuing her music career, how will she fit in time for the baby?
