A night with Lloyd Zaragoza

-

MANILA, Philippines - “Is he really a singer?” This is the initial reaction of people who have known Lloyd Zaragoza (photo) as the sidekick of John Lloyd Cruz in a series of Greenwich Pizza TVCs. He also plays Coco Martin’s sidekick in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin. But Lloyd started his career as an R&B singer before he was bitten by the acting bug.

“Singing is my passion,” he says. Lloyd is busy now gearing up for his first major solo concert titled One Night Only With Lloyd Zaragoza tomorrow, April 2, 8 p.m. at Area 05 Music Hall (formerly Ratsky Morato).

Lloyd even called their rehearsals as OA. “We only have a few days left, kaya todo rehearse na kami ng banda ko. I am also thankful to K Brosas for guesting in my show. We have a duet and I can assure you that it’s really hilarious!” he shares.

“What’s really good with this show, part of the proceeds will go to the breast cancer patients supported by the Kasuso Foundation. I am doing what I love most, that is singing, and at the same time, kahit papaano, I am also extending help. Those who will watch the show will be helping those cancer patients, too, ‘di ba?” adds Lloyd.

Although he is riddled with tattoos, there’s one riotous portion of the show that even Lloyd could not believe he will do. “And you shouldn’t miss it!” he teases.

One Night Only With Lloyd Zaragoza is presented by Greenwich Pizza, Netopi@ Internet Café, Kopi Roti, HapaDog, Sir George Salon and Golds Gym. Ticket is priced at P500. For inquiries, call 0915-7765924.
