The Price is Right makes history

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine edition of ABS-CBN’s The Price is Right aired its first live episode last March 10 on its new timeslot at 5:40 p.m. Turned out, it was also the first live episode for the whole franchise, which originated in the ‘50s and has spawned local editions in up to 40 countries.

Staging the The Price is Right is no joke as it involves major set changes that have to be done smoothly and quickly. But with the expertise of ABS-CBN staff and crew led by director Bobet Vidanes and Kris Aquino’s unrivaled hosting skills, they were able to pull it off very well.

ABS-CBN has once again proven that it is the Game Show Capital on Philippine TV by raising the bar to bring amusement and hope to its viewers. Meanwhile, The Price is Right will continue in giving entertainment, inspiration and more prices Mondays to Fridays.

Each mini-game will give you more chances of winning. The studio contestant will now have two studio partners. Each studio partner will receive P5,000 when the studio contestant wins in the mini-game.
