Las Piñas Garden exhibit

MANILA, Philippines - The Las Piñas Garden Club capped its 2010-2011 season with its 19th annual garden show and exhibit held recently at the SM Center Las Piñas. Las Piñas City Rep. Mark Villar (center) and April Aguilar-Nery (second from left), representing Las Piñas City Mayor Vergel Aguilar, led the grand opening of the 10-day event which showcased a spectacular display of various garden settings and floral arrangements designed by club members. With them were (from left) Ching San Pedro, club president; Josey Diesta, vice president; Fr. Gerry Mascarina; Thelma Tegelan, treasurer and garden exhibit chairperson; and Adele Bayot, director.
