Entertainment writing in Valencia lecture

MANILA, Philippines - Analyzing Entertainment, Chismis and Blind Items will be discussed today by The Philippine STAR entertainment editor, Ricky F. Lo in this week’s 23rd Teodoro F. Valencia Lectures on Journalism and Mass Communication at the T.F. Valencia Media Study Center, T.M. Kalaw St., Rizal Park from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Mr. Lo also hosts Startalk of GMA 7 every Saturday where he interviews controversial stars and gives the latest juicy chismis in showbiz with Joey de Leon, Lolit Solis and Butch Francisco.

The weekly Valencia lectures which started Jan. 28 and will end in March 18 are sponsored by the Philippine Trust Company, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Philippine Long Distance Company, Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., GMA 7 Network, Metrobank Foundation, Land Bank of the Philippines, Ayala Foundation, Banco de Oro, Mayor Alfredo Lim and San Miguel Corp. and attended by students of journalism and mass communication from various colleges and universities and some professionals and media practitioners. The participants are again looking forward to lively discussions which the lectures are noted for.
