Mel and Joey goes to Quiapo

MANILA, Philippines –  Kapuso talk show Mel and Joey directed by Louie Ignacio will air from Quiapo tonight.

MJ will feature “Kutkot” of the Mangyans in Juan of a Kind. It is a reverse mummification where a dead person’s relatives exhume the body of their dearly departed one or two years after his burial. The body is wrapped in gauze-like cloth and preserved like a mummy.
