MANILA, Philippines - Child Learning Center (CLC) is a pre-school located at Milagros St. in Makati City. It’s a humble, neighborhood school without much hoopla but 35 years of experience say that they don’t really need it. Its unassuming demeanor belies its longevity and expertise.
With a cumulative 53 teaching years under its belt, CLC has been the chosen preschool of generations. For instance, since 1983, CLC has been the preferred preschool of Robert Dimacali, whose three children have all had a CLC education. These children have since gone on to study in St. Scholastica’s College and La Salle St. Benilde, have created careers for themselves as well as families. Now a proud grandfather, Dimacali has enrolled his grandchildren at CLC, making sure the little ones enjoy the same quality of education and care their parents experienced.
CLC foundress, the late Sylvia Limon, was a former assistant dean of the Child Study Department of Maryknoll College and as acting dean of the Preschool. Limon was teaching at The International School, when she decided to embark on her dream — to provide children with the most innovative learning tools and techniques in preschool education.
In line with its anniversary, CLC celebrates with offers and promotions that will benefit students and their parents especially those who enroll not later than Feb. 28. Parents have the option to pay the reservation fee of P2,500 and get one set of uniform for free or they have the option to do a full-tuition payment (cash scheme) and be entitled to P2,000 cash rebate, one free set of uniform, 50-percent discount on the child’s books or eligibility to join the raffle to win an LCD TV. All these in celebration of their 35th year, offered to both old and new students.
