Lovi Poe celebrates birthday in style

MANILA, Philippines -   Lovi Poe (photo) has every reason to be happy these days. Her most recent film, My Valentine Girls, with Richard Gutierrez is a box-office hit. The reviews and feedback she has been receiving for her portrayal of Ruby, Richard’s new flame, have all been positive. This strengthens Lovi’s credibility as one of today’s youngest fine actresses. It also proves that her winning the Best Actress award twice last year was no fluke. Lovi has also started work in GMA 7’s Captain Barbell, again as Richard’s leading lady.

‘That’s another thing to look forward to,” says the singer-actress. “Richard Gutierrez is my ultimate leading man,” confesses Lovi. Lovi is about to start work in Temptation Island. She will work with her closest friends in showbiz like Marian Rivera, Solenn Heussaff and Heart Evangelista.

Tomorrow, Feb. 13, Lovi marks another milestone in her life as she celebrates her birthday in Party Pilipinas. She has prepared surprise numbers. Lovi will go to Enchanted Kingdom to celebrate her special day with the less fortunate street children of Childhope Asia. “I will be eating my birthday cake with them,” shares Lovi. “That’s the best gift I could ever receive for my birthday,” she adds.
