When 2 komiks characters meet

- Danny Dolor -

In the ‘50s, the adventures of Kerubin and Tulisang Pugot were avidly followed by komiks readers. Sampaguita Pictures adapted them for the big screen. Tessie Agana was the angel, while Fred Montilla was the headless bandit.

The two movies were such a hit that Sampaguita decided in 1954 to put them together in one movie, aptly titled Nagkita Si Kerubin at Si Tulisang Pugot, with Tessie and Fred in the title roles, of course.

Joining them were Linda Estrella, Norma Vales and Rudy Francisco. — RKC
