Kris treats sons to Singapore holiday

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo -

Curtain-raiser:

Newlywed Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez (photo) happily announced that through their Dec. 22 wedding in Batangas, they were able to raise more than P1M which will be equally divided among the Gawad Kalinga, Cure Foundation, Childhope Asia, Bridges Foundation and Operation Smile. Let’s hope that other showbiz couples follow the good gesture.

Still overwhelmed by the box-office gross (P104,563,933.58 as of Sunday, Jan. 9) of Dalaw, the movie she co-produced with Star Cinema for the 2010 Metro Filmfest, Kris Aquino flew back last Saturday, Jan. 8, from Singapore where she treated sons Joshua and Baby James (Bimby) to a bakasyon grande.

… at the Underwater World Aquarium…

“My kids and I deserved the break,” said Kris. “It was Bimby’s first time in Singapore and I made sure that he, and Joshua, had a grand time.”

For one week, Kris was not the Queen of Talk but a typical, ordinary mom as she took her entourage on a city tour with Singapore Flyer on their first day on the Island State, Universal Studios on Tuesday, Singapore Duck Tour on Wednesday and Songs of the Sea on Sentosa Island on Thursday. Of course, on the side they went shopping.

With mother and sons were Kris’ assistants Cyntch, Alvin and Sharon, and yayas Ana and Gerbel.

… at the Singapore Flyer…

It was Kris and the two kids’ second trip abroad since she broke up with husband James Yap with whom she’s friends again. The first was in July last year when she treated the two boys to a holiday in Florida (Disney World, etc.).

Fully charged, Kris is now ready to buckle down to work, starting with the game show The Price Is Right and Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 for the Kapamilya Network soon.

What’s up?

His remains are at Chapel B of Christ The King Church in Green Meadows, Libis, Quezon City, until tomorrow, Jan. 12, after the 9 a.m. Mass.

… and the two boys taking a rest from the tour.
