Vilma guests in Balik-Bayan

MANILA, Philippines - The holidays of the viewers will surely brighten up as the Star for all Seasons and now Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto (photo) guests in the two-part special of Star Awards Best Travel Show — Q-11’s Balik-Bayan.

Acting as the day’s celebrity tour guide together with host and resident biyahero Drew Arellano, Ate Vi will take the viewers around her hometown — Lipa City, Batangas. She will share stories about her life, both as a dramatic actress and a respected politician.

She will also give Drew and the viewers a VIP pass to the Governor’s Mansion in Batangas Capitol for a gastronomic food trip. And of course, she will not forget to bring everyone to her most memorable place in the town — the San Sebastian Cathedral where she tied the knot with Sen. Ralph Recto.

This special will even be more colorful as Drew features Batangas’ Ala Eh Festival where the different municipalities of the province face each other in a dance showdown. Plus, the sexy and hyperactive chef Rapsa Papa gives a Batangas dish a different twist.
