MANILA, Philippines - Step back in time and swing your hips to the awesome music of the ’70s and ’80s at the Aliw Theater tonight at 7 when the Manila Sound Project holds their first full blown concert.

Manila Sound Project, composed of OPM icons Rene Garcia, vocal and lead guitarist of the Hotdog whose songs were used in various movies and TV and radio commercials; Maso Diez, whose singing career started with the Hotdog; Sonny Parsons from Hagibis who imitated the military movements and singing style with macho dance steps of the Village People, and Male Rigor, vocalist from VST & Company, is the newest band to hit the music scene. Dance as the Manila Sound Project brings back to you the memories and the party tunes of the ’70s and ’80s like Hotdog’s Annie Batungbakal, Bongga Ka ‘Day, O Lumapit Ka, Manila, Beh Buti Nga, Ikaw Ang Ms. Universe ng Buhay Ko, Pers Lab; VST & Company’s Rock Baby Rock, Swing It Baby, Magsayawan, Awitin Mo Isasayaw Ko, Disco Fever and Hagibis hit songs Legs, Katawan, and Lalake.
