MANILA, Philippines – Aside from being one of the most watched shows today, everybody looks forward to Glee for its music. As it is now on its second season, it gets more exciting as Sony Music releases Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album and Glee: The Music, Volume 4.
Glee decks the halls and gets you in the holiday spirit early with Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album. The Glee cast sprinkles a little Christmas cheer with dazzling renditions of such holiday classics as We Need A Little Christmas, O Holy Night, Jingle Bells, a very special Dr. Seuss inspired You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch featuring Grammy Award winner k.d. lang and Last Christmas, now playing on radio. The special Glee Christmas episode airs on etc and Jack TV.
Meanwhile, Glee: The Music, Volume 4 features 18 brand-new songs from season two, including songs from special guests Gwyneth Paltrow (Forget You) and newcomer, half-Pinoy Darren Criss (Teenage Dream). It features such memorable Glee performances as Billionaire, I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Empire State of Mind, which had the single highest first day sales for any Glee track released to date (see below for full track listing). The collection also includes four songs from the much-talked about Britney/Brittany episode, which was the most watched episode in the US with 16.1 million viewers. Likewise, the New Directions’ pieces for the sectionals episode are also here in the album as well as their version of Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are.
