Shower party in Party Pilipinas

MANILA, Philippines - Today, GMA 7’s Party Pilipinas delivers a love-filled afternoon in line with the anticipated and most-talked about wedding of Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid through a music-filled shower party in Shower Party Pilipinas.

In an episode that will make everyone in the mood for love and romance, Shower Party Pilipinas opens with the young superstars of Tween Hearts led by Joshua Dionisio, Barbie Forteza, Bea Binene and Jake Vargas. Real-life sweethearts Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, Heart Evangelista and Daniel Matsunaga, Geoff Eigenmann and Carla Abellana, Mark Herras and Ynna Asistio will also join in the celebration as Ogie and Regine lead the grand kasalan opening.

Other highlights are Ogie’s song for his bride as he reminisces the ups and downs of their relationship while medley of love songs will be performed by Janno and Jaya, Rachelle Ann Go and Mark Bautista, Jay-R and Kyla together with the bride and groom-to-be.

Even Sayaw Pilipinas joins the shower party theme when the young dance superstars perform moves inspired by the traditional bridal shower and stag parties. Sam Pinto, Lovi Poe, Bianca King, Jolina Magdangal, Heart and Carla perform a dance number inspired by different weddings from other cultures.

Aside from Ogie and Regine’s live pre-wedding party, other celebrations happening are the back-to-back birthday treats for Sam and Steven Silva, who will set the stage on fire with a hot Korean pop number.

The shower party airs live at 12 noon right after Kapuso Movie Festival.
