Sid Lucero is euphoric with his International Emmy Awards experience. He could not have been happier as he walked the Red Carpet during the awards night in New York City. And to be nominated alongside great actors from all over the word is an honor big enough for an actor. British actor Bob Hoskins won the award. “The best part of it was being here. That’s the best part. I wasn’t expecting anything, not at all. I had my own bets. I thought my bet was gonna win but apparently my favorite actor did,” he said. Sid was nominated for his portrayal in the TV series, Dahil May isang Ikaw.
From the start, I have always believed that Sid, the actor belongs to the world.
Aga is happy for Ogie and Regine
Aga Muhlach, who is now in the center of controversy after that “incident” with Megastar Sharon Cuneta at the 20th anniversary concert of Ai-Ai de las Alas at the Araneta said that he is extremely happy for good friends Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez’s forthcoming wedding in December.
“Congrats, Reg, I’m the happiest for you. Kasama ko rin siya, yung pelikula naming hindi pa natatapos, Reg, sorry. Yun ang pinakahihintay niya talaga at yun dapat ang pinakamasaya tayong lahat for her and Ogie.”
Here’s hoping that the Mega and Aga will iron out their differences in the name of friendship and in the spirit of Christmas.
Zanjoe-Cristine-Rayver love triangle
Zanjoe Marudo denies he is jealous (as some quarters say) of the supposed reconciliation of Cristine Reyes and Rayver Cruz? Others predict a love triangle is in the offing between Zanjoe and Rayver who star with Cristine Reyes in the ABS-CBN hit teleserye, Kristine.
“Mabuti at least okey na sila, narinig naman natin na dati nagkaroon ng kaunting problema. Excited nga ako nung pumasok si Rayver, at least kahit papano magkaayos ayos na,” said Zanjoe.
And the news is, three beautiful girls are joining Kristine in Book 2. This should make Zanjoe smile.
Luis, Mariel will talk soon
I pray that a reconciliation happens between erstwhile friends Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga. “I’m very happy because they have been through so much. Ang tagal na nilang magkaibigan na maraming pinagdaanan. The fact that Toni is open for reconciliation, that is a very good thing for them,” Luis Manzano enthused.
Luis also said that the issues between him and Mariel are “petty.” “Based on the issues that were thrown to Toni and Mariel, yung sa amin ni Mariel is something very petty.”
He also said that he and Mariel might talk very soon. “It’s very weird if we don’t bump into each other, sa liit ng industriya, sa liit ng ABS-CBN. Working with her again, things like that are very common in this industry.”
Luis remains to be one of the most desirable young men in the country.
A flavorful mix
Here is an interesting story from Sunny Ku of Masterminds…McCormick, the flavor expert, introduced its Buffalo Wings Seasoning Mix recently in an event called Hot Chicks at Fiamma Bar in Makati City. The launch was hosted by the sizzling hunks of Magic 89.9’s Boys Night Out — Sam YG, Tony Toni and Slick Rick. A special dance number was performed by the Tribal Dancers, champions of TV5 Talentadong Pinoy. The program also included a mini-fashion show representing the four variants: “Classic” with Hot Mama, “Screamer” with Race Girl, “Barbeque” with Beach Babe and “Teriyaki” with Animé Girl.
McCormick Buffalo Wings Seasoning Mix is unique with its three-step easy to prepare feature. Four delicious variants you can enjoy at home — anytime, whether you’re planning to have a get together with friends and relatives or just simply craving for some spicy treat, there’s no need to go out.
One of the most popular chicken food preparations is the Buffalo Wings. Buffalo Wings is named after their city of origin, Buffalo, New York, USA. The appellation “Buffalo” is now commonly applied to foods other than the wings (such as chicken fingers, chicken nuggets and chicken popcorn) that are seasoned with the Buffalo-style sauce or variations of it.
The growing popularity of Buffalo Wings in the Philippines has made it a must-have dish in bars, restaurants and home parties.
