Seminar for entrepreneurs
MANILA, Philippines - The Polytechnic University of the Philippines, through the Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) in cooperation with Small Business Corporation launched the training on Enterprise Performance Tracking last Sept. 15. The CED is under the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension and Development led by Dr. Pastor Malaborbor.
The affair was a pre-106th foundation anniversary seminar to assist entrepreneurs in having a periodic review of their operating skills for enterprise enhancement. The training also aimed to help entrepreneurs generate data and information necessary in gauging productivity of enterprise.
Resource speaker for the seminar was AVP Victor Hernandez, head of the MSE Development and Guarantee Group of the Small Business Corporation.
CED director Apolonio Duque cited the importance of the seminar in providing entrepreneurs guidance on how to avoid pitfalls in business and maintaining improved performance. He also said that the training will guide entrepreneurs in the proper recording of business transactions.
The seminar was attended by faculty members and selected students from the different colleges and branches of PUP.
