Unlike in the recent past when she was indecisive about going full-time into showbiz (maybe because she was busy with school and at the “crossroads” of her life), Danita Paner, now entering her 20s, has all her heart (and head) in showbiz. Her mom, Daisy Romualdez, has volunteered to quit as manager and has entrusted Danita in the care of Annabelle Rama whom she considers her second mom.
“People change, you know,” said Danita, “and I’m glad that I have changed for the better and taking the right direction,” hinting at the recent past when she left home and created a world of trouble for her mom Daisy and dad Manny Paner.
Now a contract star of TV5, as a regular co-host of the network’s Sunday show PO5 and the leading lady of JC de Vera in the new sitcom Basta Driver Sweet Lover, Danita (who looks like a younger Criselda Lontok) is the beauty queen type but no, she begged off, “I’d rather be a singer-actress.”
She’s at peace with herself, with her mom and with the world.
“I have learned my lessons,” said Danita. “I know what I want now and where I’m going.”
An Arian (April 2), Danita stands 5’5”, weighs 110 lbs., and wears small-size shirt and size-7 shoes.
