Grand Skinvasion Mall Tour set

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos, mostly women clamor for a whiter complexion was brought probably by the impression of our country’s invaders dated way back during the Spanish colony and was extremely strengthened during the American invasion as well.

But it was not until the mid-’80s when Filipinos become more particular on using soaps that could lighten their skin. It was also this time particularly 1986 when the maker of Dermablend soaps started its vision to help Filipinos, not just to attain whiter complexion but also healthier skin.

The company which started its fame with compounding business, literally pioneered on manufacturing natural whitening soaps in the Philippines as we see it. Its world class plant has already set the standard of numerous whitening products that we are using today.

Today, The Stalder Group of Companies under its new name Swisse-Phil Holdings Corporation is one of the largest local manufacturers of whitening products. The Filipino-owned company has committed greatly on improving Filipinos skincare habits and wholesome lifestyle.

This year, the company will hold a mall tour via Skinvasion to spread awareness on keeping the skin in a more natural way.

The campaign which happened during the first quarter of the year is set for a comeback and promises a bolder and more dynamic campaign. Tomorrow, Oct. 24, the Grand Skinvasion Mall Tour Season 2 will be held at the SM Fairview Annex Atrium from 5 to 8 p.m.

Dermablend endorsers are Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson and Daiana Menezes.
