MANILA, Philippines - Tomorrow night at 9:30 on TV5, Midnight DJ’s pre-All Saints Day presentation, Pamahiin Sa Patay that tells the story of a nasty woman who died at age 110 but looked like she was only in her early 50s.
Samboy (Oyo Sotto) and Bodjie (Joaqui Tupas) accompany friend and teammate Andrea (Desiree del Valle) to the Mata family’s old house where the corpse of Aling Salome (Dexter Doria) lies in state.
As the interment is being prepared by the deceased woman’s three nieces Eammanuel (Meryl Soriano), Andrea’s sorority sister Nimfa (Helga Krapf) and Lolita (Eda Nolan) several freak accidents and misfortunes befall the household. Our MDJ Gang decides to investigate and uncovers Aling Salome’s secrets with info provided by her maid (Rhea Sol Hiballes).
Meryl is more than happy to play sexually repressed and conservative Emmanuel. The offbeat role is a challenge to bubbly, trendy Meryl. Helga as Nimfa is sexually promiscuous and dons scandalous outfits with plunging necklines. Eda, on the other hand, says portraying mentally-derailed Lolita is a big challenge.
MDJ is directed by Lore Reyes and line produced by Angie Samson-Valvieja for Big Top Productions. It airs after Talentadong Pinoy.
