XOP Band at Conways Bar, Makati Shangri-La

MANILA, Philippines - Conways Bar, Makati Shangri-La features today’s hottest show band XOP, Xtra Ordinary People this month. After a successful eight-month gig in Abu Dhabi, XOP’s eight-piece band surges higher energy with their signature varied repertoire from the ’70s and ’80s with cover performance of today’s Top 40 hits like Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, Poker Face and Just Dance.

Composed of talented musicians all from Manila, XOP has been in the local and international nightly gig scenes since 2001. With its male vocalist and band leader Louise Ramos, the energetic troupe is composed of Aileen Lumban, Hershey Salvatierra, Virginia Lustre, Roberto Claridaded, Carlo Suzara, Christoffer La Madrid and Rolan Mendoza. The group has since conquered the audience in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, US Base Diego Garcia and Disney Cruise Line in Orlando, Florida. Currently in Manila, XOP performs at Club Phi Metrowalk every Tuesday, H2 Club Malate every Wednesday. The band is also regular in Pier One Roxas and Pier One Fort Square. Come November till December, XOP’s next international gig will be at US Base Iwakuni, Japan then to Guam, USA in 2011.
