Andi in another dramatic role

MANILA, Philippines - After the successful collaboration of Andi Eigenmann and mom Jaclyn Jose on ABS-CBN’s Your Song Presents Andi comes another Your Song offering which tackles teenage pregnancy today.

“Mas mapupusok po ang mga kabataan ngayon. Iba po yung generation namin sa older generation and it is very alarming po na lalo pang tumataas ang rate ng teenage pregnancy sa bansa,” Andi shares.

“That’s why I’m happy to portray this role. It’s not just a dark drama with heavy scenes, it aims to reach out to and touch the young people like me in which in every action we do, there are consequences and responsibilities we must consider,” she adds.

For the first time Andi is paired with Felix Roco. Felix also stars in Rosalka with Empress. With their first team-up, everyone is looking forward to a good performance since both come from a clan of showbiz greats. Adding to the high expectations is the high rating of the first episode of Your Song Presents Andi which earned a score of 11 percent leaving Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts of GMA 7 with 8.9 percent last Oct. 10 based on the national ratings from Kantar Media.

In today’s episode, Andi plays Vivian who comes from a wealthy family. She gets everything she wants. However, she has a hidden relationship with their restaurant’s waiter, Edgar (Felix). This will be revealed when Vivian declares her pregnancy. It will make her parents disown her. Gentleman as he is, Edgar will take the responsibility and bring Vivian to their humble home. But will Vivian endure living the exact opposite of her luxurious life? Will she give up eventually?
