MANILA, Philippines - Klik, a youth-oriented musical, will be staged tonight at 7 at the Pagcor Grand Theater, Parañaque City.
The musical tells the story of 13 high school graduates and the lives they lead after graduation. The narrative comes to life through dance and music. It is topbilled by Pinoy Dream Academy finalist RJ Jimenez and Cris Pastor, Mayen Estanero and Change Divas.
Klik is a non-stop romp through the music of our times with materials from Donna Summer to Rihanna, from Beyoncé Knowles to Bamboo. Music is by Eugene Villaluz, Paolo Zarate and Sammy Gaddi with choreography by Jeremy Vallejo. It is directed by Roobak Valle.
Originally called Kilos Kabataan, Klik started in 2009 when a group of talented teens and young adults gathered with a mission to make a difference in the society through music. Last year, Kilos Kabataan’s show debuted at the NBC Tent, Taguig City, PUP, TUP, the Clamshell at Intramuros and Market! Market! It had a 47-show run and was viewed by 50,000 people.
