MANILA, Philippines - Cartoon Network is throwing the biggest, coolest Ben 10 day with the exclusive regional premiere of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien on Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. Cartoon Network will present Ben 10 TV marathons, new on-line games and contests, party kits, a new product range from toy maker Bandai — with limited edition aliens, a dedicated Facebook page and website and an exclusive Win the Ultimate Ultimatrix contest.
The new series follows now 16-year-old Ben Tennyson as his life changes in major ways. Ben deals with superstardom after his secret identity is revealed, while fighting new villains. With the Omnitrix destroyed, Ben must learn to master the secrets of the mysterious Ultimatrix, a new watch-like device that not only allows him to transform into a variety of alien super heroes, but gives him the ability to activate evolved or “ultimate” versions of some of his most powerful alien entities. Ben needs all the power he can get to take on new villain and his most formidable adversary yet: Aggregor.
There will be a special Ben 10 Marathon — 24 hours of Ben 10 action starting at midnight on Oct. 10. It will feature Ben 10, Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10 Specials and follows Ben’s evolution from a 10-year-old boy to a galaxy saving superhero with help from his alien incarnations.
Cartoon Network is bringing Ben 10 action to SM Mall of Asia until tomorrow, Oct. 9, as Plumber Security, the Intergalactic Law Enforcement agency from the Ben 10 series, installs a mysterious high-tech containment unit in the mall. Kids can visit the site to check out the unit and snap a photo with it.
Tomorrow, Oct. 9 at 2 p.m., The Plumbers will reveal what’s inside the unit in a special event that will also unveil of the new line of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien toys. Cartoon Network will also award the lucky winner of the Cartoon Network-Bandai and Toy Kingdom retail promotion with a limited edition metallic green Ultimatrix.
By logging on to www.CartoonNetwork.com.ph, kids can download printable invitations; a power up TV topper; an exclusive Ben 10: Ultimate Alien poster; character masks — Ben, Nanomech, Ultimate Big Chill, and Ultimate Humungousaur; party games; and a wearable, cut out Ultimatrix. For party gear, kids can log in to the Cartoon Network Club and exchange their CN Beans for more goodies, including additional Ben 10 games and exclusive alien masks.
