MANILA, Philippines - Mrs. Philippines-Universe Maria Muriel Moral, 46, also from Bicol (Camarines Norte) like Venus, was awarded the first-ever Mrs. Intelligence title at the recent Mrs. Universe contest held in Vilnius, Lithuania. Mrs. Finland Jennika Hannussari won the crown. Her runners-up were Mrs. Dominican Republic (first), Mrs. Greece (second), Mrs. Venezuela (third) and Mrs. Armenia (fourth). Moral was 1988 Bb. Pilipinas-Maja who won Miss Maja Simpatica and Best in National Costume in the 1988 Miss Maja-International contest. She’s married to businessman Joeffrey Pandi by whom she has two sons.
