NBA star visits Unang Hirit

MANILA, Philippines - Six-time NBA All-Star, five-time All-NBA team member and 1989 NBA Rookie of the Year Mitch Richmond (left, with host Drew Arellano) and Miami Heat mascot Burnie brought early morning basketball energy to GMA 7’s Unang Hirit recently to promote the NBA Asia Challenge 2010, an exhibition game featuring NBA Legends, NBA Development League (NBA D-League) players and current All-Stars and legends from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) like Alvin Patrimonio, Allan Caidic, Ronnie Magsanoc, Benjie Paras, Atoy Co and Vergel Meneses, among others. NBA Challenge, the most ambitious and largest NBA event ever in the Philippines returned to the country for the second consecutive year.
