F.A.S.H.: A full plate of fab and glam

MANILA, Philippines - There are few shows on local TV that are devoted to fashion. That is, fashion with all its myriad aspects — from designers and models to photographers and trendsetters.

Fashion is what F.A.S.H. is all about. F.A.S.H. stands for Fashion And Style Hub, and it’s the newest offering on Lifestyle Network that airs every Thursday night at 10.

Hosting F.A.S.H. is Bianca Valerio, alluring model and make-up artist par excellence. A dyed-in-the-wool fashionista, Bianca has carved a name in the field of make-up, having graduated from the acclaimed Harvard of make-up schools: Make-Up Designory, Los Angeles.

She also writes a fashion column and contributes to a blog based in Kuala Lumpur.

For Bianca, make-up is something more than just applying mascara or touching up lipstick.

“Make-up, however temporary, can instantly uplift and heal one’s spirit with one tap of a brush,” she explains. “Many make-up artists have done this for me all throughout my career, which has brought me out of my shell. Now, it’s my turn to pay it forward.”

Bianca is joined in F.A.S.H. by the fab four: celebrity stylist John Lozano, personal shopper Ram de Vera, hair stylist extraordinaire Borge Aloba and master stylist Ferdi Salvador.
