Theme for Tarima

MANILA, Philippines - Aside from the first-rate performances by the main cast (Gloria Romero, Fanny Serrano, Rustica Carpio and Gina Alajar) of the gay-themed movie Tarima, another factor worth waiting for is the theme song of the movie. Titled Napapagod Din Ang Puso, the song’s music and lyrics are by Sherwin Castillo who is also the musical director. The interpreter is MJ Diego Ringor (photo), a UST Fine Arts graduate from a musically-inclined family in Baguio City.

MJ Diego is a contemporary of Erik Santos and Sheryn Regis on ABS-CBN’s Star In A Million.

Recently, Fanny Serrano who was scouting for a new singer to sing Tarima theme song, discovered him singing at a party. Fanny was impressed with MJ that he signed him up for the job.

MJ Diego is now into business, being the chief executive officer of M2Builders Design Concepts which is into construction and interior design. His passion, however, is singing. He is preparing for a launching concert before the end of 2010.
