Singing idol of the ‘50s Eddie Mesa is also a fine actor, cast in drama-action roles in Premiere movies. One of them is the Joseph Estrada starrer Sa Baril Mag-usap (1961).
Eddie’s leading lady is Anna Marie, with Cesar Ramirez, Myrna Delgado, Vener Vizconde and Paquito Diaz as co-stars.
Eddie and Rosemarie Gil’s children Michael de Mesa, Mark Gil and Cherie Gil inherited their acting and singing gift. The couple is based in the US, where Eddie is a Christian preacher.
