In Your Eyes celeb screening

MANILA, Philippines - Fresh from more than one month on an island in a nearby Asian country as host of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown, Richard Gutierrez surprised fans and friends by showing up at the celebrity screening of his latest starrer, GMA Films/Viva Films’ In Your Eyes, Thursday night at the Gateway.

“I enjoyed my stay on the island,” said Richard who now sports a crewcut. The island’s name and that of the country will be revealed during the premier airing of Survivor end of this month.

Also present were Richard’s leading ladies Claudine Barretto and Anne Curtis (his former girlfriend).

Others were Richard’s parents, Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama; GMA Films boss Annette Gozon-Abrogar; and other Kapuso stars.

Directed by Mac Alejandre from a screenplay by Keiko Aquino, In Your Eyes grossed more than P12-M nationwide when it opened last Wednesday.
