MANILA, Philippines - Ever had an impossible dream, like what the old song says? Your favorite stars sure did, and they conquered the hopelessly impossible because they believed!
This is what celebrity friends of The 700 Club Asia testified at the live telecast of Lahat Posible… Magtiwala Ka! last July 26 to 30.
Actors, singers, radio personalities, models, and other guest stars of Lahat Posible have proven how all things are possible to those who put their complete trust in God.
Isabel Oli: “My dream is to become an actress. And that’s really impossible since I’m from Cebu, so dito lang naman sa Manila ‘yun, ‘di ba? So when I landed this (Max’s Restaurant) commercial, sunud-sunod na ‘yun. Isang tawag lang ‘yun, tapos ang dami nang in-offer. But I really prayed hard and surrendered everything to God.”
Birit Baby champion Jude Matthew Servilla: “I never imagined I’d be a singer in Eat, Bulaga! This is a real blessing from the Lord.”
Miriam Quiambao: “The most recent is when I got a lead role (in an upcoming TV5 drama special). Because of my age and the trend of getting the youth for the lead role, hindi na daw ako makakakuha ng lead. Pang-support na lang daw ako. But I believed that everything is possible with God, and He gave me good projects.”
Daisy Reyes: “I never imagined I’d be a public servant. I became a Pateros councilor after spending less than P30,000.”
LJ Moreno: “I thought it’s impossible for me to reconcile with my future husband (PBA cager Jimmy Alapag). We broke up for a year and three months, and during that time I just looked up to God and grew in my relationship with God. Now we’re getting married!”
Broadcaster Alex Tinsay: “Way back, it seemed impossible for someone with a small voice like me to become a broadcaster. I’m now a broadcaster and I’ve been here for the past 30 years.”
DJ Benjo Marquez: “The Lord rescued me from cancer. He really does impossible things. For me that was a death sentence, but for God that wasn’t impossible.”
