Storytelling at Enchanted Kingdom

KC Concepcion reads stories to less fortunate kids on Aug. 14 at Enchanted Kingdom.

MANILA, Philippines - KC Concepcion will share a fun-filled day of education and entertainment via storytelling to less fortunate kids on Aug. 14 at Enchanted Kingdom (EK).

EK worked hand in hand with KC to bring the kids from Virlanie Foundation for a day of magic at the Park.

Virlanie Foundation, Inc. is a non-government organization caring for children in need of special protection — abandoned, abused, exploited, neglected, orphaned and poor. It is one of the largest, private, non-sectarian child-caring institutions in Metro Manila.

KC saw Enchanted Kingdom’s corporate social initiative, Celebrity Storytelling, as a perfect opportunity to reach out and interact personally with kids from Virlanie.

KC has always had a big heart for kids. As the National Ambassador Against Hunger of the United Nations’ World Food Programme, KC has helped hundreds of kids fight hunger here and abroad.

With the continuous success of the program, more celebrities are spending their day at EK as they appreciate the Park’s effort to share the magic with the underprivileged.

Other celebrity storytellers for the month are Mark Gil (Aug. 7), Chynna Ortaleza (Aug. 8), Ryza Cenon (Aug. 15), Mark Herras (Aug. 21), Bam Aquino (Aug. 22), Jamie Rivera (Aug. 28) and Ms. Earth 2010 Kris Psyche Resus (Aug. 29).

KC’s Celebrity Storytelling Session is scheduled at 4 p.m. at the Park’s Eldar’s Tent. Get the chance to see and experience this moment with her as she reads to kids with EK’s Circle of Artists as role players of the story.

Enchanted Kingdom opens Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with Fireworks Display at 8:30 p.m. until Aug. 29.
