Dawn Balagot a finalist in MTV VJ Hunt

MANILA, Philippines - The MTV Asia VJ Hunt is on this year with the Philippine’s most attractive, freshest and coolest personalities. 

One of the finalists is celebrity endorser-model Dawn Balagot (photo), also a Culinary Arts major at De La Salle University College of St. Benilde. The bubbly and uber charming lady started as a TV and print commercial model way back in 2009 sweeping through primetime TV with advertisements of Coke, Jollibee and Globe.

It did not take long for the talented volleyball and swimming varsity player to land in showbiz. She has played roles on ABS-CBN’s Parekoy, TV5’s Rakista and GMA 7’s Te Amo.

It is admirable how the 20-year-old lady juggles her life as a celebrity and student. Though frequently she finds herself in the showbiz limelight as well as the music scene, she wishes to become a successful chef. All this balancing act for her age is amazing.

Dawn is in Singapore representing the Philippines for the MTV Asia VJ Hunt with other finalists.

Being the bassist of her pop punk band, Airport Drama, she knows music. she lives and breaths music. She is not a stranger in the runway as well as in your TV sets so she won’t be a stranger also when you cast your votes.
