Voice, flute spectacular at Kiss the Cook

MANILA, Philippines – The ground-breaking intimate concert series at Kiss the Cook Gourmet made a big splash with the acclaimed recital of two-time NAMCYA winner Oliver Salonga last July 4.

The series resumes July 25, 6 p.m. with soprano Camille Lopez Molina, two-time NAMCYA first prize winner flutist Christopher Oracion and pianist Mary Anne Espina.

Lopez-Molina will highlight the concert with Schumann’s Widmung, Donaudy’s O del mio amato ben and Catalani’s Ebben ne andro lontana from La Wally popularized by the French film Diva. She was a scholar at Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and studied at Konservatorium der Stadt Wien where she was soloist in Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater conducted by Gerhard Schwarz at the Musikverein, home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Kiss the Cook Gourmet is located at 65 Maguinhawa St., UP Village, Diliman, Quezon City.

Tickets are priced at P1,200 each with dinner. Concert is at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Only 37 seats are available. For details, call 748-4152, 357-3811 or 0906-5104270.
