Kris: There's no third party in break-up

FUNFARE - Ricky Lo -

Don’t take any (and I mean ANY) hula-hula seriously. It’s easy to make hula-hula, anybody can do it, and all one has to do is watch showbiz talk shows and religiously read movie/tsismis columns and, voila, manghuhula ka na!

Does Kris Aquino believe in manghuhula (“turbanned” or not)?

I doubt it.

Insisting that there’s no third party in her break-up with James Yap, Kris texted this message in reaction to speculations about the cause of it all: “Me? Involved with someone new? Or somebody gay involved with James?”

One manghuhula predicted that Kris would be linked to, according to what Kris heard, “a single, influential, famous and prominent politician.” Who could he be? I have a guess but I won’t tell you who.

Asked Kris, “Tito Ricky, may I know who this man is? Para I can make sure to stay away from him since pinag-uusapan na kami. Or for all we know, di ko s’ya kilala.”

And what about a “younger man” daw?

“Last Friday,” said Kris in another text message, “Zsa Zsa (Padilla) warned me na si Coco Martin naman ang pinag-uusapan na ili-link with me. Categorically, I can say that I have been 100 percent FAITHFUL in the five years of our marriage. Wala sa track record ko, Tito Ricky, na magloko. I don’t think my soon-to-be ex can say the same thing.”

Incidentally, Kris and sons Joshua and Baby James are leaving for a well-deserved vacation abroad any day now. Estranged husband James will be home.

Bad news to Kris detractors who want her to stay abroad for good: Kris and the kids are coming back.

Like in the case of Kris and James, no third party is involved in the rumored crack in the relationship of Vic Sotto and Pia Guanio.

“None,” said Pia in a text message to Funfare when asked who could the third party be, if any.

But Pia did admit that she and Vic are having “differences” (to put it mildly).

“Hoping sana to fix things quietly,” added Pia. “That’s all I can say. Enough na ‘yun, ha.”

Did Pia really ask somebody to upload in a Facebook account that she (Pia) is “single again” as Funfare noted yesterday?

“No, I did not,” clarified Pia.

That means that Pia is still “double.”

Let’s hope that she and Vic can “quietly” iron out whatever kinks are there between them.

Do you believe that Ruffa Gutierrez’s love life is zero?

“The ‘mystery guy’ you mentioned in your column yesterday is non-existent,” said Ruffa, who turned 36 (she’s a Tiger) on her birthday last June 24, in a text message to Funfare. “This much I can share...there’s no one in my heart at the moment. I’m getting to know others and enjoying their company. But that’s about it.”

At Ruffa’s 007-themed birthday bash at Republiq Bar last June 30, she hinted that the “mystery guy” could be present, in a James Bond costume. In fact the name “Chris Parker” cropped up in the guessing game. Could he be the “rich, devastatingly handsome foreigner” reported by Funfare several issues ago to be with Ruffa at a fine-dining resto in The Fort, driving a brand-new BMW (or was it a Benz) with a conduction sticker and not a permanent car plate yet?

Asked if, after breaking up with Yilmaz Bektas, she hasn’t developed a phobia for foreigners, Ruffa said in her text message, “No, I don’t have a phobia with foreigners. My phobia is to date Pinoy actors, lalo na kapag sikat. Lahat nakikialam. Walang katahimikan.”

Hmmmm. Is she referring to two-timer John Lloyd Cruz?

“What do you think?” asked Ruffa.

Well, I think...
