Stars at Toy Story 3 preem

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Celebrities “escaped” from their daily routine to watch Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang make their “great escape” in the IMAX 3D red carpet premiere of Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3. The event was held June 16 at SM North EDSA’s Digital IMAX.

Spotted were Cesar Montano who brought his three young daughters who were looking forward to see doll Barbie in the big IMAX screen.

Maricel Laxa came with her pre-teen children as well. Her youngest son kept asking, “What time will the movie start?”

Also making the event a family affair were Lander Vera Perez and wife Regine Tolentino and their two daughters; Onemig Bondoc who brought his wife and child, and Nene Tamayo with cuddly son.

Also in attendance were Miriam Quiambao, Star Magic talents John James Uy and Regine Angeles, PBB Double Up housemates Patrick and JM, and Goin’ Bulilit cast members.

Toy Story 3 welcomes Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz (voice of Tim Allen) and the whole gang back to the big screen as Andy prepares to depart for college and his loyal toys find themselves in… daycare! These untamed tots with their sticky little fingers do not play nice, so it’s all for one and one for all as plans for the Great Escape get underway. A few new faces — some plastic, some plush — join the adventure, including iconic swinging bachelor and Barbie’s counterpart, Ken (voice of Michael Keaton), a lederhosen-wearing thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants (voice of Timothy Dalton), and a pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear called Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear (voice of Ned Beatty).
