MANILA, Philippines - Ang Pilipinas Ngayon, a factual assessment of the country’s progress, tackled government’s successful efforts at improving health services and education program as well as its highly-touted housing projects when it aired its second and the third episodes yesterday.
The advocacy program is hosted by Precious Lara Quigaman and Caritas executive director Fr. Anton Pascual. It will be shown during the commercial gaps of Umagang Kay Ganda, Showtime, TV Patrol on ABS-CBN, on ANC, The Filipino Channel and DZMM.
Ang Pilipinas Ngayon is presented by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Petron, San Miguel Corp., United Coconut Planters Bank, North Luzon Expressway, Maharlika Shipping, Philtranco, Pacific Pearl Airways, Stradcom and Strategic Alliance Holdings, Inc.
In its second installment, the program highlighted breakthroughs in public health service and education as government instituted programs and reforms to ensure that every Filipino enjoys a healthy mind and body.
