MANILA, Philippines - Lorenzo (photo), the young tenor songwriter from Pampanga, will launch his debut album titled Believing in Love at a cocktail-concert on July 10 (Saturday), 6:30 p.m., at the Pergola in the Boom Grounds, CCP Complex. Inspired by the prolific artist’s memorable periods in his life, the CD is marked with an encompassing love of family, friends and country. The cocktail-concert will benefit the Healing Ministry of the Missionaries of the Beatitudes.
Lorenzo composed new melodies for Our Father, expressing gratitude for healing a loved one and for the Mother of God in the song Ave Maria. In Ikaw Lamang, Lorenzo hails the brave OFWs who leave home for the improvement of their families’ lives; in Sense of Mission, he encourages the youth to be catalysts for change and developments; in Ika’y Ina, Guro ng Pag-ibig, he lauds all mothers.
The haunting song Stay or Say Goodbye is a sentimental farewell to a lost love while With You I Am Home is a grateful appreciation for his parents.
Also included on the CD are the popular What Are You Doing For The Rest of Your Life and My Heart Will Go On.
Lorenzo has been creating waves in successful performances in Singapore, Metro Manila and Cebu during corporate affairs and varied celebrations involving those who love crossover music.
