Assunta in Midnight DJ

MANILA, Philippines - On TV5’s Midnight DJ tonight,Assunta de Rossi is lovestruck Maya who believes Raffy (Ping Medina) is her knight in shining armor. When the handsome guy proposes marriage, the lady does not hesitate to accept and their altar date is set.

On their honeymoon night, Maya is shocked to discover that the man she just married is not human but an elemental bent on killing her like its first bride-victim (Dianne Medina). Fortunately, Maya cheats death and eventually reports to Midnight DJ her mysterious husband who turns from macho to a devil tree with weird giant roots that choke would-be prey.

Samboy (Oyo Sotto) and friends Bodjie (Joaqui Tupas), Andrea (Desiree del Valle), Trixie (Jenny Miller), QT (Meg Imperial), Kimchi (Lucia Cristobal), Chief Arthur (John Medina) and Ka Tokleng (Gilbert Telis) come to Maya’s rescue. They burn down the tree (Raffy) and one of the MDJ members has to sacrifice her life. Stay tuned to the program directed by Lore Reyes and line produced by Angie Samson Valvieja of Big Top Productions to find out who will make her final vow this week.
